I am tremendously inspired by vintage silverscreen Hollywood style in My own personal style, so naturally this includes the LUSH HOLLYWOOD FURS of silverscreen Hollywood! As the Fur Goddess I have a penchant for PLUSH LUXURY FURS! There is nothing on earth like putting on a fluffy plush posh fur. It is SO decadent, so soft, so warm, so luxurious, so glamourous! OMG they had THE most gorgeous furs during the Hollywood Golden Age.. I love so many of these films that feature the beautiful fur fashion of the 1930’s – 1950’s!

There are so many glamourous silverscreen Hollywood films featuring luxe and plush Hollywood Furs. One of My current favourite films to watch which features many BEAUTIFUL furs is “The Dolly Sisters” – featuring Betty Grable and June Haver.

One of My favorite excerpts from the movie ‘A Christmas in Connecticut’ with Barbara Stanwyck. Barbara Stanwyck’s character receives a special delivery of a mink fur coat. Her uncle stops by and can’t believe how extravagant the coat is, she tells him it will cost her six months salary, to which he replies nobody needs a mink coat but a mink. Barbara Stanwyck says to him oh but you don’t know what a mink coat does for a girl’s morale!
